PC or Mac For DJing

What's everyone running for computers? I know many people are running Mac Book Pro's especially if they are playing video's on Serato Scratch Live's Video SL Plugin.
Also, Is there anyone running Video SL on a Windows 7 Notebook? I'm curious as to how it runs because apparently Windows 7 had H.264 Codec's already loaded into it's media center.
I found that out after I was able to play my mp4's without having to install Quick time.
I'm currently running an XP Quad Core Box with Video-SL and it runs pretty good but, am ready to Try Windows 7 on that DJ Box.

Serato Scratch Live

Many of us DeeJay's bought Serato Scratch Live as soon we saw our friends using it. It is an awesome piece of software! I have it and it's bad to the bone. I no longer use my CD's because they are simply not needed.
However, Many DJ's DJs are not using any of the cool features of the software. They are playing music the same way as they did with CD's and vinyl. They open folders, drag and drop into the virtual player and then just play the track. Then repeat the sequence to find out what they are going to play next. Serato Scratch Live has many many cool features. Even if you are "Old School" take the time to read the book. You will be happy you did.

DJ Hero

It was predictable that Activision, the maker of DJ Hero, would seek to expand its rhythm genre line and DJ Hero is the most recent addition to its arsenal.
However, it isn't nearly as functional or as refined as its current leader, Guitar Hero. Still, it has the technology and the music is decent. It should stimulate enough gamers to step up to the plastic platter.
We also can tell the next version will have more options which, we hope will fix some of the issues that bog down an otherwise awesome product.
